Spent a fun day at the San Diego Zoo. The morning was a little foggy, but it burnt off and was a nice day. First off, we took the guided bus tour around the park. Then with map in hand, we walked all over the park and enjoyed all the displays; animals, plants in their botanical gardens, even a 4D animated short film.

Tomorrow we cross the border at Tecate to spend 2 1/2 months in Los Barriles, Mexico, which is about 1 hr. north of Cabo San Lucas. We have rented a house that looks out at the Sea of Cortez. This should be a fun time of walking the beach, margaritas, chips and salsa, cocktails in the evening sitting on the roof decks, four wheeler rides up the arroyos. Will keep you all posted.
