Paraiso del Mar

We met Jim and Deb Pigman last year in Los Barriles as we were in line at the ATM.  They came out looking very confused and I was pretty sure I knew why.  The ATM is all in Spanish and we had a cheat sheet, so I asked them if that was the case.  That was the beginning of our friendship and we had a few adventures while they were in Los Barriles.  We stayed in touch and we excited to be in Los Barriles again this year.  This year there was an added bonus in meeting Angie and Don French, who Jim and Deb had met last year down in La Paz.   After a while in Los Barriles, the two couples are once again staying at the Paraiso del Mar condos in La Paz.  They invited us to come down to visit them and see where they stay.

The Paraiso del Mar condos are on the El Mogote peninsula in La Paz, so they take a water taxi back and forth. Rich did not want to leave his truck on the street over in La Paz, so we decided to take the bus up to La Paz.  Round trip tickets cost us about $16 and the bus rides were pretty comfortable.

The condos and beach were very nice and it was great to spend time with new friends.  Thanks Deb and Jim!
