Tombstone/Boot Hill

Rich has read so many old westerns that he felt right at home on the dusty streets of Tombstone. The most famous event in Tombstone’s history was the famed Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in 1881. This gunfight was between Wyatt Earp, his 2 brothers, Doc. Holliday and 4 notorious cowboys. So we walked the streets, toured the courthouse, had lunch in “Big Nose” Kate’s (who was Doc Holliday’s lady friend) bar, wandered in the Bird Cage Theatre where “soiled doves” worked, and watched a reenactment of the famed gunfight. Also went up to Boot Hill Cemetery where the 3 killed cowboys were buried. As we went through the stores, I was unable to resist some gorgeous opal earrings and Rich HAD to buy a rock!!
