Kolob Canyons – Zion National Park

Another great day in one of our country’s national parks.  Today we went to Kolob Canyons…it is in the northern section of Zion NP.  We went on a really nice 5 mile hike on the Taylor Creek Trail to Double Arch Alcove.  The cliffs were a gorgeous color of pink and the sand was red.  As we were hiking along, we saw a couple of wild turkeys.  This really is beautiful country.  The weather has been nice…sunshine, no snow 🙂 and blue skies.  Life is good.
